Your Customized List is being Prepared
You have just signed up to receive a list of non-profits near your home.
This list is customized to your address. We want to pick out the best locations and we also want to make sure they are close to your home. Sometimes it will take us a few hours to get your list just right because we have to check a few of the locations. Please be patient. We will always get your list to you as soon as we can. It usually arrives in your mailbox within a few hours but on weekends or holidays it could be as long as 48 hours. We just want to make sure it is accurate as possible before we send it to you.
When you receive your list
Contact these places as soon as you receive your list to find one that works with your schedule. Most of these places will provide you with a timesheet but if not just contact us after you have started working and we will set you up with an online timesheet. If you have any questions just hit reply when you receive your list and the specialist who prepared your list will be able to help you.
Using your list
You will receive an email with a list of non-profits near your home address. Please review it right away to be sure we have your correct address and these non-profits are close to your home. Contact addresses and/or phone numbers will be provided for all locations. Note - because we do not know what schedule you are available to work, we do not contact all these worksites before sending you the list. We only check a few. Some of these locations only accept a limited number of volunteers and may not have immediate openings for you. It is your responsibility to start contacting them as soon as you receive your list and ask if they are currently accepting volunteers. If you wait too long they may be full. Please contact all locations and if for any reason you cannot find an opening you can request additional lists for no charge. Please rest assured and feel confident that if you start calling the numbers on your list when you receive it, you will have no problem finding a location close to home and getting your hours done. Some Courts will have special restrictions on where you can work so be sure to let your court services know when you have started and what you are doing. As a general rule, if the work you are doing is beneficial to the public and you are being supervised by a non-profit it will be accepted as Community Service. Good Luck!
CS101
CS101 is a password protected website created to make it easier for Workers, Non-Profit Site Managers, School Counselors and Court Employees to keep track of community service hours. Our main office is located in Chicago, IL and we work with Court Services and Probation Officers around the Country to provide a safe and secure online site where workers can keep track of their community service Hours.
Online Records Management
We maintain a database of non-profit organizations who accept community service workers in different locations. We also provide online timesheets for community service workers which can be used to record and keep track of their hours. These timesheets can be printed and submitted for review as needed. There is a fee to use some of our services and these fees may be paid by workers or community service organizations. There is no cost for schools or court officers to access and review timesheets for registered workers.
Questions about Community Service ?
Although we would like to help everyone with Court Ordered Community Service Options, there are thousands of people currently struggling to find court ordered community service worksites and we just cannot respond to individual questions unless after you have registered with us and paid for our program. Please review our list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and if you cannot find your answer there please sign up for one of our programs and we can then provide help with all your community service questions.
Please Note
Please note that there will be a delay in sending out lists between February 24th and 29th. If you order a list during this time, it may take several days to deliver your list. This is because we are upgrading our database and servers at the end of Feb. All work is scheduled to be completed by Feb.29 and you will receive your customized list on that date.

Organize a Fundraising Event for Orphans
Young adults have the ability to make a tremendous impact in our world...maybe even more than they realize. This is why we are starting a new initiative to organize students on college campuses who are interested in learning about and helping orphans around the world. If you know of college students who would be interested in taking part in a steering committee to help us best communicate and organize a group on their campus that could change the world by making a lasting and positive impact in the lives of other young people, please have them contact Bonnie at bonnie@allforchildren.org for the details!

Blankets for Kids
Do you Knit, Chrochet, or Quilt?
Would you like to help a child in need?
Project Linus is a volunteer non-profit national organization with a
two-fold mission. First, it is our mission to provide love, a sense of
security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill,
traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade
blankets and afghans lovingly created by volunteer "blanketeers". Second,
it is our mission to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for
interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of
children.
Do you knit? Crochet? Quilt? Join us and make a difference in a child's
life. The blankets must be smoke free, new, handmade, and washable. They
should be made from cottons, flannel, polar fleece or acrylic yarn.
Fabrics should be "kid-friendly" and appropriate for the size of the
quilt.
Suggested size guidelines for blankets are:
Infant - 36" x 36"
Toddler - 36" x 40"
Teen - 45" x 60" and larger
Grade school - any size between toddler and teen
As this is an all-volunteer organization, donations to the Onondaga
chapter such as: 100% cotton kid-friendly fabrics (at least 1/2-yard
pieces), batting (at least 1½-yard pieces), fleece (1 ½ yd. pieces),
acrylic yarn and gift certificates to JoAnn Fabric, AGR Sewing, Calico
Gals, Mission Rose Quiltery, Patchwork Plus and Michael and AC Moore are
always greatly appreciated. Tax-deductible monetary contributions help
defray our 100% voluntary effort.

HELP! I need people who can crochet, knit, sew...
I currently have 3 orphanages in the need of some warm blankets and baby
booties. I am looking for others wanting to help make these items (they
can be quilted, knitted, sewn, crocheted or use whatever talent that you
have).
The majority of the blankets will go to orphanages, however when the need
arises, I do help the children in the community as well. If you can help
out I would love to hear from you.

COMMUNITY SERVICE QUICK
You can complete your hours on your own schedule & don't have to report to
our office! We suggest a community car wash, community yard sale, bake
sale, & telling friends, family & co-workers that you are doing a
fundraiser to raise awareness with the proceeds going towards helping
children who were injured & orphaned by impaired driving accidents. We
calculate every hour at $10.00. This means if you have 30 hours then you
would collect $300.00 in donations. If you feel that you need your
probation officers approval, you can ask them to approve us first. We are
a Non-profit 501(C)3 and help prevent impaired driving. I will email you
after our call & will attach some items that you may or may not need. For
more information & to get started, call 404-374-5440 , 7
days a week from 9a-6p, or email lauren@saferideamerica.org

and 125 Foster/Adoption Children.
Valley Teen Ranch has a need for crochet or any type of hand made lap

have 200 blankets available to give to our children.
Make blankets throughout the year for children at Valley Teen Ranch.
